If you encounter a deer, or other animal all you should do is brake and hold the wheel straight. Any other policy can lead to the death or injury of you or your passengers. Car or animal injury is a secondary consideration.

I meant no offense sir. It simply sounds like you crash into animals on an rather frequent basis. Maybe slowing down a little could aid in these automobile related dilemmas?
