Rodent + 1,424 February 5, 2018 Analysts largely expecting a fairly decent build in crude oil of ~3 million barrels. Gasoline expected to build, but by under 1 million barrels. Oil price trends are SUPER ugly today. Any build larger than what was expected in either crude oil or gasoline may mean more bloodshed tomorrow. Rodent + 1,424 February 14, 2018 Higher inventories in both crude oil and gasoline than expected. US production reported over 10 million bpd. If you thought oil prices were ugly last week, welcome to a whole new kinda ugly this week. Crude: +3.947MM Cushing: -2.319MM Gasoline: +4.634MM Distillate: +1.1MM
TraderTate + 186 TS February 14, 2018 Yep, this is the fear that's been guiding oil prices. Inventory for oil, and overall inflation fears for the entire stock market.
Rodent + 1,424 February 14, 2018 US shale is not going to stop until prices are so low it makes no sense to keep it up.
Rodent + 1,424 February 20, 2018 So my usual go-to for analyst predictions doesn't have the new forecast for crude oil or gasoline inventories https://www.investing.com/economic-calendar/eia-crude-oil-inventories-75 what gives? Anyone see analyst predictions yet for this week's figures?4 Aside from that, API will be on a one-day delay this week due to President's Day.
Kvitebjørn + 7 AH February 20, 2018 So where is the place to go for the fastest release of these numbers? Every week i am trading way later than what the market do and only enjoy bits and pieces of the actual profits to be made.
Rodent + 1,424 February 20, 2018 Ah... well, you can pay API thousands of dollars to get the figures directly from them. Alternatively, you can get them from us, about 6 minutes after the release (so, about 4:36 pm EST). We usually have it up shortly after that. https://oilprice.com/Latest-Energy-News/World-News/Oil-Prices-Fall-After-API-Reports-Crude-Gasoline-Build.html Welcome to the OP community!
Rodent + 1,424 February 20, 2018 Maybe I should gauge the interest of publishing the figures here a couple minutes earlier? Just the figures without the commentary?
