NSW (anti)Labor oppose Narrabri

Recommended Posts

(edited)

Not surprisingly, NSW Labor is against creating local jobs

Makes you wonder what are their drivers and political (mis)calculations.

NSW is the only state (excluding TAS with no gas production) with gas deficit:

It will also guarantee NSW will always pay fair international market price for its gas. As per Jun-2019 Energy Quest:

Average domestic gas prices continue to be at least $8/GJ lower than export prices on both the east coast and west coast. On the west coast the average Woodside LNG price in Q1 of $12.45/GJ was $8.77/GJ above the average domestic price of $3.68/GJ. Santos’s average LNG price was $14.29/GJ, $7.80/GJ above its average domestic price realisation of $6.49/GJ.
