Greta is a specific child being used and abused by her parents and other adults with an agenda. I am not making a generalized slur. I am very specifically calling out the play acting bullshit by Greta, which is being actively forced by her parents, and which is being forcibly shoved down our throats by Mainstream Media. Your complaint is noted. Have you not noticed that Greta is personally attacking all adults? Her speech was one huge personal attack and yelling diatribe against anyone that disagrees with her extremist views. Greta allows zero dissent. And I have a very big problem with that. Greta is a Public Figure, and is not immune to criticism, in response to her yelling diatribe theatrics and her attempts to shut down any and all dissent. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes. @TomTom @CMOP @Selva if I am out of line here as a moderator, please let me know. Clearly, these are my own opinions, and I sure as heck don't speak on behalf of Oil Price staff or anyone else. ============================= Excerpt from the "About Me" section of my profile: *** Important ! I do *not* expect others to agree with my opinions. I tend to have rather unusual opinions about international Oil & Gas. I *do* hope that readers will fearlessly voice their own views about international oil & gas. As a former moderator on the Oilpro forum, (and now a moderator here on the Oil Price Community forum) I *encourage* dissent, and *encourage* Freedom of Speech, and *encourage* others to freely voice their views and convictions about oil & gas. A diversity of global views is what makes the world a special place. Conformity is just a slow, painful death of not speaking your mind. So SPEAK UP. Please don't be a jerk about about it, though. If you want others to consider your views, please be willing to consider the views of others. =========================== Note that Greta is totally unwilling to consider the views of others. Only her own views count, and everyone else's views can go to hell. Sorry, I'm not buying that bullshit. / end rant

Her quotes are in italic, mine follow each quote. If it turns out there were errors in transcription—as seems likely—I’ll try to update with corrections. I apologize for the snarky tone, but if a 17-year-old can dish it out, I think she can take it. “My message is that we’ll be watching you. JZBoozell + 4 JB September 25, 2019 (edited) When it comes to climate change, I do not know enough to make a judgement one way or the other, and I doubt Greta has the scientific background to understand it any better. What I do know is that this issue is preventing other environmental issues from being brought up. It's like a magician using misdirection. A few examples we have mind-boggling amounts of plastic in the ocean they need to be taken care of. Our waterways have high levels of contaminants that are killing and mutating the fish. We have invasive species such as the spotted lanternfly in the Northeast, the silver carp (flying fish) in the Mississippi, and the Nutria (looks like a large groundhog with white whiskers) that are disturbing our ecology. I do not think that the United States is solely responsible for these issues. Edited September 26, 2019 by JZBoozell Forgot something
