Fact is, this is how ALL of the charging stations around the world operate.  Until the political will exists forcing all of the solar/wind boys to install energy storage of several days equal to their generating capacity, "renewable" is a joke. Ah, but this would eliminate renewables "cheap" mantra day dreams.
