Rob Kramer + 696 R September 29, 2019 Ya I'm from southern Ontario ... google "Toronto climate strike" happened yesterday . And as per usual kids on the front line of this new battlefield so to speak. Anyone under the various "able to make your own decisions age" should not be able to protest/strike. I can assure you PING my entire family would never vote NDP or Liberal. And I try to engage WINN liberals (pre FORD) why they didn't revote their party (less than 9%? Lost party status) that fulfilled many pledges ... haven't heard an answer yet lol . 1
Rob Kramer + 696 R September 29, 2019 CBC News Article: Climate lessons from the classroom spill into the streets Best part : Many of the children in the streets do not know the details of the science, but they are convinced that they're heading into a different world than the one that exists today. Can one protest something they admittedly don't understand? 1

It will stay on topic for about 10 minutes LOL. By the way, it's a shame you see OMG or even the world EVOLVING etc as an insult. OMG is just a phrase, always has been. I'm an atheist but don't say 'OMG' as some kind of dig to religious people, I have no god that I'm literally saying oh my god to. Evolving / to evolve IS a legitimate word and verb and is not always connected to some evolution 'debate'. People have a right to use language as they see fit and I've not seen a post that suggested those with crazy ideas being linked to religious beliefs. I'm sure it would be jumped upon straight away. No idea why. Every other topic can be examined and scrutinised but religion has always been off limits ...? 7 hours ago, Rob Kramer said: even tho it's the atheists who are all claiming that climate change will end time vs Jesus returning when the last beilever is saved Nice generalisation. And if I believed one of these, I know which it would be. Hint - it wouldn't be a person born from a virgin and returning from the dead. Rob Kramer + 696 R September 29, 2019 DT I like your posts alot. And I'm ok with having different views. And I'm positive there are places to debate religion. I just think it's a shame when words mean less and when alot of could be good dialogue is consumed by pointless content. Mabey I'm too square that's my loss just relaying my point of view. Also OMG has a biblical history it came from somewhere I wont bore you or preach to you but just because it's used without knowledge doesn't mean it's not a dig . Its essentially a word group that's lost its meaning I guess. It's ok tho my religion is the one that forgives . And to answer your question w/ hint it wouldn't be the potentate of time? All words came from somewhere and it's not a dig if the person that said it doesn't intend it as a dig. I say 'Jeez' all the time, I'm sure that came from the exclamation 'Jesus' but as you say it's a word group that's lost its meaning along the way. And the word 'evolve' is a verb lol, nothing to do with religion. I don't think you're 'square' lol, just reading a little too much into things that have been said now and again. And yes, good dialogue can be consumed by pointless content, I agree. I play no part in this silliness though. As I said, all threads here will go off topic within minutes. You just gotta roll with it and eventually it swings back round to the topic. Molasses good. Vandalism good. Oil bad.

I was born and raised in Sudbury, and moved to Alberta in 1998, so I wasn't there during the Winn years, thankfully:) I can't believe the amount of Canadians that are not concerned about our debt, and that they are ok with billions of tax dollars being given away outside of our country for social justice causes. I think it is pretty sad that teenagers are being used for these protest and strikes, especially when they have no clue what life will require out of them in the future. Most have no idea how difficult it can be having to go to work everyday, paying taxes, paying for a mortgage, paying for groceries and still trying to save for retirement. I can't believe how brainwashed some of these young adults/teenagers are. I have heard comments on Youtube such as "It doesn't matter how much tax we pay, we won't have an earth to live on anyways due to climate change". While I agree people posting mean things about Greta may not be right, but, she is attacking many peoples way of life and when people feel threatened they might fight back. I like having a gas vehicle and all of the MANY other benefits oil provides. She is attacking some peoples careers as well, those working in the oil and gas industry for example, or the airlines. I read she is also making a lot of money out of this so I am sure she will do fine. I do feel that she wanted to do this, she was already protesting by skipping school since she was 12. I do blame her parents more than I would blame her and feel they should be held accountable. These "kids" who were skipping school are mostly teenagers and most will be eligible to vote in the next election (not this years but could be in 1-2 years), and it seems like their biggest concern in life is now the climate. 1

The left/Democrats like to sell themselves of the party of the people, they are the only ones who can advocate for minorities or talk about the climate....they are much more intelligent than we give them credit for. They are using a tried and tested tactic of the actual left (socialists/communists) yet furthering globalist/corporitist agendas....it's quite mind boggling when you think about it. I find using children for propaganda (like your video) to be a special kind of disgusting...I want children to enjoy their childhoods and their education should be about discovery and learning to figure things out for themselves not to be indoctrinated at the age of 12. I am seriously having to think about contacting my daughters school because her geography class has been teaching this garbage for over a year and it's starting to get annoying...what about glaciers and volcanoes? Edited to remove the remains of a diatribe 😆 The "actual left" has been using this technique forever. Hitler used it, which is why there are so many memes of Greta and the Nazi girl, with the same look and braids no less. Let's not forget that Nazi stands for the national Socialist party. But wait, there's more. Channeling my inner @Jan van Eck I'll throw in some history. The mercury dime from back when the US was so wealthy we made our coins out of actual silver, had an odd bundle of sticks on the back. Those sticks, in Latin are called Fasci and Mussolini, who borrowed Lots from the Romans made sure to brand his party with the same logo the Romans used to promote unity. Because of that logo, Mussolini and his followers were called fascists. It is only a fiction of the left that fascism is an indicator of the right. At the time and still today it is a creature of the left. 1
