OK one positive thing they have added to society at all.

In the last year then?

Again - how can they achieve anything without the Senate?

Haha well that's true.

I'm sure there are better things they could have done, senate or not, rather than waste millions investigating rubbish?

Heck, whack a hard hat on Pelosi, build this famous wall you're all moaning about? Get AOC involved, knock yourselves out...

But a serious question for you : For 2 years Trump had the presidency, The house & Senate. Why has he not achieved more? Can you answer why attacking or blaming somebody?

So you haven't seen the link of 275+ things he achieved in first 2 years?

I've posted it a few times, and no one has refuted any of it, if anything people have added and said ''what about this?''

Found it. It's 289 things in 20 months. Enjoy.

#butwhataboutthewall -  by the way, I don't attack people unless I'm abused first. I'm like a lion with my cubs. A lion that is relentless with logic and humour.   *cough <leaderboard> some people get it.

Cheers  :)

He’d probably have done much better if the House had spent some time working for their constituents (you know, that thing they were actually elected to do) instead of spending their time obstructing ANYTHING Trump tried to do, whether it was good for the nation, as a whole, or not.

See Rasmus... :)  just coz not in power doesn't mean you can't do something positive

How's that wall going? Did Mexico pay for it?

Great,  just yesterday illegal immigration is down 50% in direct correlation to the new wall areas. And yes Mexico is definitely paying for the walls! Just let it marinade for a few more months and you will see like everything else the media ridicules Trump for, they wind up being wrong. It has happened time and time again in his presidency. But if you only receive the leftist propaganda you wouldn't know.

Meh. That's one interpretation.

When I fail in a negotiation my business suffers. When Trump fails it is somebody elses fault. Great men take respnsibillity.

Why is your interpretation better than mine?

Why are you choosing to turn ''what have democrats done?'' to ''what Trump hasn't done'' ? Did you click on the link by the way?

My interpretation is what we were talking about in fairness mate. Democrats doing something of use.

I still say get in some hard hats ...

Trump will capitulate on the trade war.  Why?  The key lies in who rescued Trump from his bankruptcies, who is the same person to support Trump financially in his election campaign.  That person made his billions in casinos.  That person has a casino in Macau, and that casino provides the great majority of cash flow to that person. The lease and operating licence on that casino is about to expire.  That casino is in SAR Macao, now part of China, and all lease/licence renewals will require Beijng approval. Readers can connect the dots from here.  Of course, the Trump propaganda machine will paint an entirely different picture, and the dumbed down drugged up 'murcans will believe.

Fresh point: Sheldon Adelson do has leverage over Trump, but I think you exaggerated it also got China wrong:

1. I think you overestimate Sheldon Adelson's bargaining power. Trump is teflon president no sh*t sticks to him, he can even honestly: grab them by the p**sy and still be loved, because he is Trump. Very wise although very dangerous guy: Steve Bannon made him tribune of the people.

2. China will never officially embargo anybody as a result of US-China trade, technology, economic conflict. China consequently creates the public image that it is opposite United States image, that its open for business, do not embargo anybody, likes multilateral institutions, is peaceful etc. Remember it is narrative carefully created and rehearsed in Chinese ministry of propaganda, strategically the best ministry of this kind in the world. US is better in technically marketing propaganda as it rules global media but it has shortcomings in strategy= what to peddle to mass audience. China-US hegemony war is a very long, very tough play and Chinese know this for 20 years.

Chinese sometimes seem to be on the brink of making mistakes, like when they were to create own restricted entities list. This message was for domestic audience. China will never embargo any foreign entity, not in a loud American way (in your face, in your face, pure stupidity). China wants to allow United States to isolate themselves as much as possible under Trump. Trump narcisstic & unstable personality helps a lot.

How exactly has he failed? He has probably kept more of his campaign promises than any other President, while at the same time battling an adolescent House!

The trade war is under negotiation at the moment, so no ‘result’ can be defined. Can you honestly expect any President, in four years, to rectify something that has been decades in the making? Do you not consider addressing the Chinese trade imbalance as addressing the deficit?

The title of thread is "Tump will capitulate on the tradewar". Sorry, but I am not the one turning this around. Trump is the sitting president. Development in the US is on him, good or bad.

It is not Trumps fault. He is trying to save America. No-one trying to accomplish this can be expected to behave like an adult. Cut the man some slack.

fair enough. What I am trying to say is that Trump is president. Criticism of him is usually responded to (on this forum) by attacking dems / O'bama. In fairness your link wasn't.

I agree he is and it's on him to solve issues. But people ignore everything he has done, and some suggest it's nothing, and go on about a wall (which by the way is nothing to do with China and trade as far as I know). Whatever he does, some will complain and some will praise.

Like I said, endless wars in the ME. Whatever he does there, the opposition will moan. Same with China situation. Same with Russia. Same with Ukraine. The mindless desperate moaning from the Dems is just boring. One day maybe they will get over the fact that he won and think of their country for once.

I totally respect your and Enthalpic's opinions and the fact you don't like or respect him. I've never once said he's perfect by any means. The only reason I do talk about Dems or Obama is that I can't stand hypocrisy and people's (not you guys) blatant selective memories. I don't think, and can't imagine, any president in history getting as much shit as Trump does, and I obviously don't think it's entirely warranted, indeed I don't think the majority is. So I will defend him, and due to the selective memory and the other side of the story I cannot help but compare to people who seem to do nothing positive for their country. I see that as worse, no matter who's actually in charge.

And in terms of the tweets, as I've said before, if I was lied about all day I'd probably use Twitter as much as he does. One tweet, boom, what is it? 50 million people or something ridiculous? Their news is an absolute joke.

Chicken and egg. I can't remember a president attacking opponents as aggressively as Trump.

I don't follow US MSM. What I see on this forum is blatantly pro-Trump, whatever he does.

I do think Trump deserves credit for some things. And criticism for others. But my impression is that Trump supporters respond to criticism by attacking. I guess I need to visit some anti-Trump sites to get a taste for where you are coming from.

Because he doesn't act like a president, or a decent human being.

Does the end justify the means? Even if, big if, he makes money they still have a classless buffoon for a leader.  Criminals make money and run empires, doesn't mean they are any good for the world.

Pablo Escobar the second for President!  "Plata o plomo World!"
