Kate Turlington + 44 KT February 8, 2018 Now that he's 'freed' some business elite who cut 'settlement' deals for more money to fill royal coffers, MBS is trying to let the world know that it's still business as usual. See that they're pumping out news that they're going ahead with the building of the world's tallest tower ($1.5 billion).

Kate Turlington + 44 KT February 8, 2018 It's significant because the businessman backing the building were detained ... they were part of the purge. The company building it is JEC, owned by (among others) Kingdom Holding Co of Prince bin Talal ... who was detained and just freed after making some sort of 'settlement' deal. Seleskya + 50 AS February 8, 2018 saw that MBS postponed his visit to UK, too over fear of protests that might insult him further.
Carlsbad + 19 CB February 14, 2018 Here's one 'settlement' MBS got out of one of the Saudi business elite he 'freed' from the Ritz: Prince Alwaleed bin Talal, recently freed, is now donating half a million to a football (soccer, for you Americans) club because the government told him to.
