Fantastic! A good idea for fleet vehicles, just don’t force it on independent truckers without subsidizing the mandate and don’t try to force it on individuals.

Wholeheartedly agreed.  Business owners will enthusiastically adopt any technology that makes sense.

The sad thing is that I think every politician knows this.  When they try to force uneconomical technologies on businesses, they're probably doing so for political or personal gain.  We need less government.
