Not really.  The idea that one grain out of 85,000 is insignificant falls apart if that one grain is plutonium. 

These guys in the video are doing a hustle on you.  Just because the result happens to be accurate does not imply that the methodology or the logic in getting there is worth anything.  Actually, in this case, it isn't.
