I bought Occidental stock on December 19th.  It's up 6.5%. Energy stocks have been pounded. They are not overbought.  They had been shot and left for dead. With the rising oil price, the mergers due to bankruptcies, and the lower production in the shale basin (which is good prices and raise reserve values), plus the fact that funds have to invest SOMEWHERE some energy stocks are going to go on a holy tear in 2020.
