Justin Hicks + 162 JH January 28, 2020 Some good news out of Oklahoma today. $20 million dollars awarded to two families of men killed in the 2018 Patterson 219 explosion, the worst on land rig disaster in the US. We lost 5 good men on rig 219, I'm happy the verdict has come in. Greed over human life has no place in our industry. It's a very dangerous job and safety first is not just a saying. A couple months ago I watched this video made by the US Chemical Safety and Hazard Investigation Board. The conclusion by this Board will surprise you. This was not a case of greed over human life. I have ZERO knowledge of drilling, rigs, completions.
