It shows that many red states who flout the ideological righteousness of low state taxes make up for their budget shortfalls by taking federal gov't welfare. And why everyone is fleeing California. ~9% tax rate and why they are fleeing to the South with low or no income tax taking their businesses and jobs with them. Revenue just shows how idiotic the government is and how quickly they will be losing their tax base. Welfare: Far as I am concerned 100% of welfare should be removed at federal level. That is at best a state issue due to Constitution.

He did that, it's welfare, and you liked it; because -in theory- it hurt China (it didn't) and it helps republicans while taking from democrats. Socialist vote buying. I guess it doesn't matter how many times one points to evidence that China needs outside grains to survive. It also doesn't matter how many times one gives evidence of the only long term, quality, consistent provider of those grains is the USA. It's against their narrative and is forgotten or brushed off, again and again.

Old farmer Palmer was on the other day 'bout the price of his sugar-beet drill. He reckoned he found the little green pound don't pay them big red bills, And though he's got a private yacht, a race horse and three cars, He always say the farm don't pay. That's how them farmers are. But... CHORUS: I never seen a farmer on a bike. I never seen a farmer on a bike. Wherever I been, I never miss a thing, But I never seen a farmer on a bike. He do complain about the rain, the green fly or the drought. He say black spot have ruined his crop but I can't make this out. I seen him get on a jumbo jet. I seen him on a train, But that'll be the day I see him bikin' down the lane. [CHORUS] I worked for Palmer till I wore my fingers to the bone, But when I speak of another pound a week, you ought to hear him moan. And though his combine cost a bomb, I'm sure you will agree, He could dispose of his Volvos and bike about like me. But... [CHORUS]

Most I ever saw was one with a trailer he could pull to a campground and a few others with fishing boats. And the equipment was owned by the banks and the dealerships. Or a landlord. If you had bothered to pay attention to what I have said through MANy different topic threads, as far as I am concerned Almost All of the functions of the current USA federal government should be abolished. That sir, includes elimination of the ENTIRE farm bill and USDA. Enjoy tilting at windmills and knocking over strawmen...

You build for worst case, not average. Capacity factor 75% of battery available at best and average capacity of battery will be 75% so, by nameplane capacity ~50% Germany requires 75GW daily and if transporation goes electric ~100GW * 14 days *24 hours = battery required is 33,600 GWh of battery is required * capacity = 67,000 GWh. Biggest battery factory in the world: TESLA makes 50GWh/yr..... And cannot expand because the minerals are not available even though everyone is begging for their batteries. So, JUST FOR GERMANY: Tesla has to build batteries for 67,000/50 = 1340 YEARS Did the newsletter mention somewhere that the coal power plants in the US manage to produce ~ 966 000 GWh??
