Don't Want Our Oil? We Don't Want Your Wine

British Columbia is pissed at Alberta for banning wine imports from B.C. But Alberta says "You started it" when B.C. proposed new rules to try and stop the Trans Mountain expansion. Now B.C. says Alberta had no right to ban the wine imports. So, did B.C. had the right to try and ban the oil? What fun!

I'm pretty sure states in the US cannot make laws that interfere with interstate commerce.

Is it that different in Canada?  They can behave like little sovereign nations?
