BLA + 1,666 BB February 21, 2020 (edited) As the newspaper headline stated , "Bloomberg spends $500 Million to get his ass kicked" He's done. Democrats now know none of the candidates on that stage can beat Trump. The way their convention is set up if nobody wins a majority on the first vote the establishment's "super delegates" come into play on subsequent votes. The establishment will be the determining factor. John Kerry was overheard on the phone asking what he needed to do get into the race. He denies he was interested. Yea right. Kerry might be able to enter after South Carolina. But probably could just wait till the convention and be the only solution. However, the Bernie Bro's will be quite upset. The talk around DC is Kerry will be plan"C". There is one other possibility depending on how the rest of the primaries go . . . a coalition. IF Bernie continues to lead and Warren accumulates enough candidates they could start acoalition and cut a deal. Maybe Warren releases her delegates to vote with Bernie's on the first vote if she is guaranteed the VP position. Kerry would give Trump a run for his money. He would play the fear card. Kerry would attack Trump as (1) dangerous. That he will get U.S. into a war with Iran and (2) Trump has alienated all the U.S. allies. The word around the Capital is Kerry is willing. He will be appearing on more cable TV shows under the guise of a Biden supporter but in actuality for his own benefit. Douglas Buckland + 6,308 February 21, 2020 Please put Kerry in the race! That moron could not get elected as dog catcher! 2 2
Tom Kirkman + 8,860 February 21, 2020 Any chance of Bernie + Hillary for Vice President. That would be an amusing platform to watch self-destruct with in-fighting. 6

If Hillary's ego and her fan base can take it, that might be her only way to the Presidency! If Bernie were to pull this thing out of his butt, he'd probably die of disbelief (and a poor ticker, sorry Bernie), leaving Hillary as President. God help us!

Geoff Guenther + 317 February 21, 2020 I really wish we had a few more non-geriatrics. Who's more senile? Sanders or Trump? A debate between the two would be like two grump old men shaking sticks at each other.

Could you imagine. That match-up viewership would beat the NFL SUPER BOWL ratings. 1 1
BLA + 1,666 BB February 21, 2020 (edited) Kerry would be good option for Democrats. DEMs need someone with name recognition, high political office and national/international experience. The perfect ticket would include a VP that Obama can back and solidify the black vote. Former AG Eric Holder ? Edited February 22, 2020 by BLA

Bernie is the "everyone can be on this lawn, the government will pay for it" guy. Get Off My Lawn

Al Gore is almost 71, only two years younger than President Trump who has a lot more energy at age 73.
