Low oil prices are mainly and indication of slow economies, an abundance of oil, and do not necessarily indicate decreased demand. Low energy prices spur economies more than just about any other factor.

The Chinese economy is failing big time. That said, no major economy is doing well. All have overburdened themselves with excess government spending. All have been foolish. Right now America is doing the right things to correct decades of foolish spending. It will be a long haul. China has a great history, built on conquering other countries over hundreds of years. Siberia is next o its list. It is a great power, but it is also a communist dictatorship that is our most powerful opponent worldwide. The Chinese people are slaves to the CCP. All the world has benefited from inexpensive Chinese merchandise. I buy all I cannot buy elsewhere at a good price. We need to use tariffs for our own good. We also need to use whatever trade partners that will work fairly with us. As long as China is an aggressor we need to expand our dealings with other nations.

Grok Answers What can be done to harness the heat energy in motor vehicles and all vehicles and machinery. To harness the heat energy in motor vehicles, machinery, and other types of vehicles, here are several practical approaches: 1. Thermoelectric Generators (TEGs) Function: Convert heat directly into electrical energy via the Seebeck effect, where a temperature difference across a material generates voltage. Application: TEGs can be installed near the exhaust or engine where temperatures are high. The generated electricity can be used to power vehicle accessories or even fed back into the battery system. Challenges: Efficiency is relatively low, around 5-8% conversion rate from heat to electricity, but improvements are being researched. 2. Waste Heat Recovery Systems Rankine Cycle Systems: Similar to how steam turbines work, these systems use the heat from the engine exhaust to boil a working fluid, which then drives a turbine connected to an electric generator. Application: Common in heavy-duty vehicles like trucks where waste heat from the engine can be significant. Challenges: Adds complexity and weight to the vehicle design, which can impact fuel efficiency if not designed well. 3. Phase Change Materials (PCMs) Function: Store thermal energy during one phase (liquid or solid) and release it when changing back to the original phase. Application: PCMs can be integrated into parts of the vehicle that get hot, like seats or engine compartments, capturing excess heat and potentially using it for cabin heating or other thermal management needs. Challenges: The efficiency of heat storage and release can vary, and space for these materials might be limited. 4. Heat Exchangers Function: Transfer heat from one fluid to another without mixing them. Application: An advanced heat exchanger can capture heat from engine coolant or exhaust gases and use it to heat the cabin, reducing the load on traditional heating systems. Challenges: The design must balance between capturing enough heat and not overheating. 5. Innovative Engine Designs Hybrid Systems: Some hybrid vehicles use the engine's heat to improve overall efficiency, like in regenerative braking systems where energy is captured and stored. Application: Not just for cars but also in industrial machinery where engines run for long periods. Challenges: Requires significant redesign of existing vehicle architecture. Additional Suggestions: Research and Development: Continuous R&D into materials science for better thermoelectric materials or more efficient heat transfer methods. Legislation and Incentives: Governments could provide incentives for adopting these technologies, reducing the financial burden on manufacturers. Public Awareness: Educating consumers about the benefits of such systems in terms of efficiency and environmental impact can increase demand. Harnessing waste heat not only improves fuel efficiency but also contributes to reducing the environmental footprint of vehicles and machinery. Each method has its niche based on the type of vehicle or machinery, the scale of operation, and the specific heat sources available. Post Thermoelectric Generators

Spechino, none of what you told about has anything to do with Christianity or what is in the Holy Bible. I think you know that. Christians are as likely to be persecuted as any other group, especially by atheists. Communists in China killed millions of their own. Muslims did also. A religion should not be judged by the false adherents, but by those who truly represent it.

You need to find "The Pearl of Great Price" and give all who you are and have in trade for it. You will find it in the Holy Bible.

You offer no information of value and are supportive of Chinese solar panels. Worse, you continue to lie about where the bulk of energy comes from. Yes, I am 79 years old and a lot wiser than you. I have the sense to not lie about people and not be obnoxious like you. You have the emotional level of an dimwitted adolescent. I am a veteran and have seven years of college under my belt.

Whatever happened to the promise of thin solar? Search Labs | AI Overview Learn more While "thin solar systems," also known as thin-film solar panels, are still being developed and used to some extent, they haven't become as dominant in the solar market as traditional crystalline silicon panels due to their lower efficiency, though research is ongoing to improve their performance and make them more cost-effective, particularly for applications where flexibility or lightweight is crucial; a notable example of a company that focused on thin-film technology, Solyndra, faced bankruptcy due to challenges related to efficiency and cost issues. Key points about thin-film solar panels: Lower efficiency: Compared to traditional silicon panels, thin-film panels generally convert a smaller percentage of sunlight into electricity, limiting their widespread adoption. Cost advantages: Although less efficient, thin-film panels can sometimes be cheaper to produce, making them attractive for certain applications. Flexibility: Due to their thinness, they can be more flexible and adaptable to different surfaces, which is a potential benefit for integrating solar power into buildings or unusual structures. Recent developments in thin-film technology: Material advancements: Researchers are exploring new materials like perovskites, which could potentially improve the efficiency of thin-film solar cells. Focus on specific applications: Thin-film technology is still being actively developed for applications where flexibility or lightweight is critical, like integrating solar panels into building facades or portable power systems. Search Labs | AI Overview Learn more According to current data, only a small percentage of solar panels and related equipment are made in the United States, with estimates placing it around 1-2% of the global production, meaning the vast majority of solar panels used in the US are imported, primarily from China;. Key points about US solar panel manufacturing: Low global market share: The US currently produces a very small percentage of the world's solar panels, with figures often cited around 1-2%. China dominance: China holds the majority of the global solar panel manufacturing market share. Recent growth: While still low, the US solar manufacturing capacity has been increasing due to policy changes and growing demand.

I just got a solar estimate for my home. It was going to cost over $50,000 over 20 years! They would keep all the Illinois rebates. I think that is pretty ridiculous considering all of the "decreased prices" for solar panels.

https://www.yahoo.com/news/terrifying-monterey-county-declares-emergency-023143565.html 'Terrifying': Monterey County declares emergency after massive lithium battery plant fire James Powel and Roseann Cattani, USA TODAY NETWORK Updated Fri, January 24, 2025 at 9:40 AM CST·3 min read 46 A state of emergency has been declared in Monterey County on California's scenic Central Coast over a major fire at a battery plant. The Monterey County Board of Supervisors ratified the emergency during a special session about the fire at Vistra Energy's Moss Landing Power Plant in the unincorporated community of Moss Landing. The proclamation was first issued by the county's administrative officer when the fire began one week ago and clears the way for the county to ask for state and federal assistance. The fire, which was left to burn, was out as of Tuesday, according to fire officials, and small pockets of heat at the facility would continue to be monitored using drones, according to The Californian − part of the USA TODAY Network. The fire at the plant, a 300-megawatt lithium storage facility, destroyed most of the building and its contents, according to county fire officials. The storage facility is a part of a natural gas-powered electricity plant operated by Vistra Energy, a Texas company. The facility also has a battery storage station owned by PG&E. Evacuation orders for approximately 1,200 residents near the plant were lifted Friday night, though some road closures remain in place. EPA, county says there was no risk to public health Burning fire at the site of Vistra Corp's power plant in Moss Landing, California, U.S., January 16, 2025 in this screen grab obtained from a social media video. The Environmental Protection Agency concluded supplemental air-monitoring in the vicinity of the Vistra Energy storage facility on Monday and said in a statement that there was, "no risk to public health throughout the incident." The EPA began monitoring for hydrogen fluoride, a highly toxic gas produced by lithium-ion battery fires, and for particulate matter on Saturday, according to the county’s timeline. “We remain fairly confident that there was no adverse impact associated with emissions from the plant fire, we did not do speciation of chemicals found because that would be a pretty exhaustive and expensive process to do," Richard Stedman, air pollution control officer from the Monterey Bay Air Resources District, said at the meeting. Residents near the fire and in communities just outside the evacuation zone requested further testing of soil and water on Tuesday and shared personal stories of health symptoms, including respiratory issues and a metallic taste. Community members, officials express concerns over safety At Tuesday’s Board of Supervisors meeting, members of the public voiced their concerns and demanded answers from county officials, saying they wanted officials to ensure cleanup was done properly and hazardous chemicals were not allowed to run offsite and seep into the neighboring environment. Ed Mitchell spoke for a newly formed community group called the Moss Landing Fire Community Recovery Group, which came together after 160 residents gathered at Prunedale Grange, a volunteer organization in Monterrey County, on Monday. Mitchell told the supervisors that North County residents appreciate the actions of first responders and called lithium batteries a "thrilling" new technology but “a technology that when it goes wrong, it’s not thrilling, it’s terrifying.” Monterey County Supervisor Glenn Church said during the meeting, according to CBS News, that "this technology is ahead of the government's ability to regulate it. And the industry's ability to control it." Church called for the facility to stay closed until an independent investigation determines the cause of the incident, CBS News reported. This article originally appeared on USA TODAY: State of emergency declared over California lithium battery plant fire I recall a lot of ballyhoo praising this plant on this site. The future of battery backup might not be all that great, it is very expensive too. More coal and natural gas plants that can fire up quickly may still be the best solution. View comments (46)

In 2023, the percentage of car sales that were electric in major countries was: China: Just under 60% of new electric car registrations Europe: Just under 25% of new electric car registrations United States: Just under 10% of new electric car registrations Explanation Electric car sales are increasing globally, but they are still concentrated in a few major markets. China, Europe, and the United States account for about two-thirds of total car sales and stocks. The EV transition in these markets has major repercussions for global trends.

The information is widely available for free on YouTube.com Many true pioneering experts give pioneering information on most medical subjects if not all. Medicine has to become democratized. Not just run by Big Pharma, and federal or state governments. Every person should learn all they can and teach what they have learned. Having maladies yourself may help you to do so. I am nearing eighty and have lived well through a hip replacement, an aortic valve replacement, back pain that I got physical therapy for to avoid surgery, atrial fibrillation, and continue to learn about all aspects of health and longevity. I work out twice a week at the gym and at home. The food industry has been teaching us to eat the wrong foods, so that we can become addicted to sugar and cheap starches from childhood. We use cooking oils that are dangerous and most grew up with hydrogenated margarine and peanut butter and Crisco instead of bacon grease and lard which are healthful. Highly processed foods is a generic term for industrialized food processes and additives that are not good for us. These foods have led us into metabolic syndrome, obesity, and shorter life spans. I think that RFK will be approved for HHS Secretary and will guide some great changes but it will be a never ending struggle to educate people about health issues.

Pioneering physicians are very unpopular and often fired for not going along with the false teachings that they are forced to use in large medical groups. Shawn Baker has a great book out on the Carnivore diet. He was a top practice builder for a large group before being fired. I highly recommend his book. Diabetics are being given misguided treatment by many physicians. Statin users are often suffering muscle pains needlessly. Psychiatric patients are not given the nutritional information that may be vital to recovery. Covid patients were prevented from getting proper information on many helpful supplements and helpful medications. Children should never have received any Covid MRNA shots. They were called vaccines but are not. These are just some of the faults of organized medicine brought to us by our malign medical authorities.
