Portland's strife is self induced, there is no Trump agenda here what so ever. To that point the Oregonian news paper actually shut down opinion pieces due to the backlash the governor faced trying to pass cap&trade. 

I could go on and on...The N.Y. Times did a piece on state of affairs, it foretold this future. 

Trump is only guilty of crushing the left's agenda of socialism. As to the fault of Democratic cities crumbling you can lay that at the feet of Obamaism and the far left media.

I'm going to help you out, Ward. In the process leading up to discovering what I'm about to tell you I came to the realization why there are no "Centrists" in America. This is convoluted and complicated so stay with me here. Armed with this knowledge, your life will be easier. 

Basic Premise: Socialism and conservatism are engrained in the DNA, just like hair and eye color, sexual preference, personality traits, etc. 

Study Model: I had a friend who was deeply conservative. He married a very pretty woman who was not. They had two children. One of the boys grew into a conservative man with strong family values, a charitable heart, and a good work ethic. The other one likes money but prefers that others make it. This follows typical Mendelian genetics: it is up to the nuances of how the genomes within the egg and ovum are distributed. This mess began in the Garden, of course, with Adam and Eve unable to resist the temptation that had been carefully spelled out for them. What happens in the garden does not stay in the garden, so here we are, all these generations later, with about a 50:50 split between conservatives and liberals--it's still a fight between who gets the leaf and who gets the fig. 

Such is life as Homo sapiens, variety H. erectus. We males can choose our friends but must faithfully follow our dick throughout life. Just as the male praying mantis surely knows he's going to get his head bitten off when he mates, he does it anyway. And if you do that with a pretty socialist, well, you wind up headless with the strong possibility of having fathered, as your last act on this earth, a penniless offspring with strong opinions about where all the money should go.

You're welcome.  Come to Edmonton, in the summer, it is very nice. I'll buy you a Grolsch or Bavaria and some bland cheese.

We have plenty of our own racists who wanted the trains to just run over those protesters. 

Canada's historical treatment of the natives is not a good example - it's only slightly better than the US history of killing them.

It is now well known there was a translation error in the original text. A rib was not given to Eve in fact it was part of a mans brain. Never was my mistake, just your ignorance of basic chemistry, which is why it's funny when you blather on about it. I said salt was a buffering compound, you said NaCl as if that's the only salt. You were wrong, you threw a hissy fit and I decided you were ignorant and stupid. You've had ample opportunity to improve your status but your subsequent posts have not done you any favors on that regard. Carry on.

uh, What has salt to do with the thread?  In English, salt is NaCl.  If you mean other chemical compound formed by base and acid ions, normally such is not labelled as salt. An example is sodium benzoate: it would be formed similarly to sodium chloride in a chemical reaction, but normally would not be labelled "salt".
