People in the Military are..

Neither party is willing to take education out of healthcare. An algorithm reading blood tests results could eliminate a big chunk of doctors, nurses and pharmacists. Little women with good hands could take blood for $10 an hr.
If your bloodwork is good and no changes are needed that doctor will not subscribe medication without a fee. It’s a racket.
So call me a socialist for not wanting to feed a failed market based system.
Why does the right want to support expensive failing policy.

Dont even get me started on military spending on obsolete weapon systems. A huge chunk of our economy is based on wasteful out of date military technology. Socialism at its worst.

So interesting to pop in from time to time. Now we have Bob Woodward catching Trump on tape disparaging soldiers, disparaging black people.

When I was here last people were deriding me for saying that any idiot could see that COVID was going to wreak havoc. It's not like you need a crystal ball to run some simple math calculations.

Now Woodward has Trump ON-TAPE talking about how huge COVID would be, all the while telling the public everything was fine. Apparently the guy who screams about caravans of migrants is worried about the public panicking.

For normal people there is nothing to see here - Bob Woodward is just repeating what we knew all along. But a third of America has gone psychotic and will continue to defend Trump no matter how many people he kills.

You made this part up. Or link to the tape.

The "Covid" reveal was no reveal at all since Trump said the same thing publicly. Embarrassing for the MSM, who have jumped on the "Trump hid Covid!" bandwagon after getting their noses rubbed in their own Bullshit about the WWI soldiers, debunked completely, not like they'll admit it.

Now Geoff.  There you go again.  Please be a bit more specific when you spew what you take in from your media sources.  Let's see what the anti-Trump New York Times says, just to let you know I'm not spewing some Right-Wing Propaganda.

Mr. Trump repeatedly denigrated the U.S. military and his top generals.

Mr. Woodward quoted Mr. Trump denigrating senior American military officials to his trade adviser, Peter Navarro, during a 2017 meeting.

“They care more about their alliances than they do about trade deals,” the president said.

And in a discussion with Mr. Woodward, Mr. Trump called the U.S. military “suckers” for paying extensive costs to protect South Korea. Mr. Woodward wrote that he was stunned when the president said of South Korea, “We’re defending you, we’re allowing you to exist.”

The President is the Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces in the United States.  As such it is part of his responsibility to look at what his senior military officials are doing and to work to align their actions to fit the U.S. foreign policy.  There is nothing wrong with that.  Those military officials wield great power and need to be reigned in where they take action opposed to foreign policy.  Where you and the Left get it wrong is to expand this very narrow citation to spout that it includes the general soldiers/enlisted.  It doesn't, nor does Woodward claim it does; that is just what the rest of the Left-Wing media would have us believe.

And this is what you call "disparaging black people":

When asked about the pain “Black people feel in this country,” Mr. Trump was unable to express empathy.

Mr. Woodward pointed out that both he and Mr. Trump were “white, privileged” and asked if Mr. Trump was working to “understand the anger and the pain, particularly, Black people feel in this country.”

Mr. Trump replied, “No,” and added: “You really drank the Kool-Aid, didn’t you? Just listen to you. Wow. No, I don’t feel that at all.”

Mr. Woodward writes that he tried to coax the president into speaking about his understanding of race. But Mr. Trump would only say over and over that the economy had been positive for Black people before the coronavirus led to an economic crisis.

Disparaging?  I don't know if you can stretch it that far.  Maybe, maybe not.  But I would say it indicates that Mr. Trump is unconvinced that all of the hype is actually coming from the black community, and that it seems more to come from Leftist interested (white) groups.  Mr. Trump is and should be proud of the fact that unemployment for blacks is the lowest since recording of the same began, and that the economy (pre-Covid hysteria) had/has been very good for blacks.

The rest of your comment about Covid and the President downplaying it is rather senseless.  What President would want the entire country to panic using only incomplete information and advice based on that incomplete information?  At first you complain that the president didn't take it seriously, and now you complain that he did but that he chose not to spread fear and panic at a time when there were too many unknowns.

I believe the "tape" that Geoff is referring to is the tape of the interview that Woodward conducted with the President.  See my comments above about that.

I knew what he was referring to, Just wanted him to back it up so I could do what you did and rip it to shreds. I didn't want to carry his water for him though. Bottom line, Geoff needs to stretch reality into blue pill zone to even come close to having anyone believe his lies. That, or a total lack of understanding of the definition of Disparage.
