U.S. Economy Adds 213K Jobs in June, Unemployment Rose to 4%

Despite adding 213K jobs in June, unemployment rose to 4%. Among the unemployed, about 1/2 had lost their jobs and 1/2 were re-entrants. Long-term unemployed up by 289K to 1.5 million. A lot of Americans are still left out of this growing economy.

Official figures don't give the full picture but the trend  is clear. Lots of jobs available for highly qualified people but steady increase of  highly qualified people ensures salary cap. And bad market for less qualified people

Sofia is correct.  Once the tariffs take effect, the US is going to be adding TONS of jobs.  I would sure hate to be Chinese right now.  You can only rip off Americans for 3 decades.  After that, it's pay back!
