Silicon valley does not produce manufactured goods and never has.  Do you mean the San Joaquin/Sacramento AG valley's?    Plenty of water and only reason there are any problems is due to population growth demanding that water from the existing water rights granted to farmers and government regulations reaching in and stealing those water rights.

Silicon Valley got its name because of all the semiconductor manufacturing that was here at the time. Now we build Teslas.

87,000 IRS agents... who are buying hundreds of millions of rounds of ammunition/year...  Uh, WHY is the IRS buying ammunition?  Only one reason, to make a police force beholden to NO ONE other than themselves to bring down on the common man..

87,000 IRS agents ... 330M/87k = ~4000 per person.  Most couples filing jointly... so, 1 per 2000 but only half the population files, so 1 IRS agent per 1000 people.... ~300 days of working a year... How many can one look at a day?  Most are simple, and the others?  Essentially this means 100% of everyone is being audited and they have the ammunition to make a FEDERAL police force beholden to NO ONE and unregulated by ANY oversight committee.

States rights?  Basic rights in the constitution?  Going bye bye...  USA... going to become the new USSR.  How the world works.  Power hungry people aggrandize power in government every year until slavery, or civil war is reached.  So, one can only slow down the decline if one wishes to base projections based on reality.  Hell majority of USA cities have banned fireworks even the utter jokes they sell today... and you essentially cannot buy any chemicals anymore.  Open your eyes.  911 was the excuse but all you have to do is look at the gargantuan "security" budgets compared to what they were a mere 20 years ago for supposedly "elected" government officials of the "people"..... uh, no they are NOT of the "people".

Should ban EVERYONE in federal government from buying ammunition other than FBI/military.  Nor should they get security except from state cops.  Making an entire army unregulated NEVER ends well.  Why does the EPA/IRS/DA have security with ever increasing budgets?  If we actually have rule of law, not one "security" goon should be needed as one has to push through the courts injunctions and then have local police administer it.

Just remember the pool of money is over 400+ billion by tax cheats. Pretty big incentive to go to war. Trump appears to be the leader of the tax cheats. So the tax cheat folks and the Coup folks. Who will be left? The budget will certainly gain some cash.

Fairchild Semiconductor International, Inc. was an American semiconductor company based in San Jose, California. Founded in 1957 as a division of Fairchild Camera and Instrument, it became a pioneer in the manufacturing of transistors and of integrated circuits.
