The strike at Escondida has been averted, traders are worrying about Turkey and China, and the tariff war, and as a result copper's shed 20% in two months. Nickel, on the other hand, enjoys a jump thanks to EVs. How come copper's not enjoying the effects of the EV hype as well? There's so much copper in an electric engine.
