I have seen small cyclones forming on land while living by the coast in the Tropical zone. Briefly, if you are interested to know, when cold front from the sea meets hot front of concrete on land, these 2 fronts intwined naturally to form cyclone. The strength of cyclone depends on temperature difference between those two fronts. The greater the difference, the larger the center, the higher the height and the faster the speed of the cyclone. Strong cyclone would be called hurricane in the west, typhoon in the east, cyclone along indian ocean etc. Edited October 9 by specinho

You can not count 1st year in the first 100 years as a century. It begins after year 100th. Therefore, when old days mentioned 18th century, it actually refers to 1900s. Understand? There are people who have made old informative, down to earth research, reliable publication not available. They change info into what they want you to believe. Confuse you with what they want you to believe using fluffy research of largely garbage in-garbage out but adjustable to suit the outcome desired or results people want to hear. While googling for info, we still need to think independently if info provided is reliable and correct. We no longer able to accept blindly what is provided like before. Give my line "century started after year 100th" a thought, to consider its acceptability. For my one cent worth of opinion, between knowledge founded/ used by pioneers/elders and info provided by newbies in modern world, I have a huge tendency to trust pioneers and elders. They did not have google or internet back then. All they had is time, passion for something intrigued them, patience to find out, courage to verify again and again before sharing. Old knowledge will hold the ground while modern one falters one after another. Edited October 12 by specinho
