I heard just a hint that Trump may require China to halt crude oil purchases from Iran and began buying US crude as part of an OVER ALL trade agreement. The only loser would be Iran.

I believe that's going to be more of a " resumption" than to "begin" buying.

China just finalized its "no tariffs on certain imports" list in August and crude won't be exposed to the tariff.

The biggest issue is the time it takes US crude to reach China( 1-1/2 months) plus the US doesn't have the dock area and support for Supertankers, needed to make the venture worthwhile.
