Petrobras to pay $2.95 billion to settle U.S. lawsuits

Brazil’s state-run oil producer Petrobras agreed to pay $2.95 billion to settle U.S. class-action lawsuits over a massive corruption scandal that has damaged its market value.

When a company is run by criminals, the company itself is a criminal entity. Also, does anyone believe for a second that Dilma Rousseff could really have had no idea of what was going on in Petrobras?

Corruption is so widespread in Brazil that it will be impossible to draw a distinct line between this case and its perpetrators and all other related and unrelated crimes. Of course Rousseff knew of the corruption

With 7 members representatives of the government out of 10 sitting in the board of Petrobras, and they claim to not knowing about the corruption going on in front of their nose? Yeah, right. Must be the company's doorman behind it all

Interesting that the majority of money stolen came from the Abreu e lima massive refinery construction project.
