I suppose that Trump prefers a No Deal outcome. In case of a hard Brexit with no deal between the UK and tthe EU, the UK would be desperately needing a UK - US trade deal and the US could easily get an uneven deal favoring the US.

divide and conquer. Trump is not the first to try this strategy. I wonder though if it will work this. Interesting to follow..
