pinto + 293 PZ November 6, 2019 (edited) Iran has stepped up activity at its underground Fordow nuclear plant, state TV said on Wednesday, a move France said showed for the first time that Tehran explicitly planned to quit a deal with world powers that curbed its disputed nuclear work. In another development that could also aggravate tensions between Iran and the West, diplomats said Iran briefly held an inspector for the U.N. nuclear watchdog and seized her travel documents, with some describing this as harassment. Iran said the inspector was prevented from entering the Natanz facility because of a concern she might be carrying βsuspicious materialβ, the semi-official Fars news agency reported. It said screening equipment at Natanz flashed a warning sign when the inspector passed through so her equipment was searched, she was denied entry and the International Atomic Energy Agency was subsequently informed. The incident involving an IAEA inspector appeared to be the first of its kind since Tehranβs landmark deal with major powers was struck in 2015, imposing restraints on its uranium enrichment program in return for the lifting of international sanctions. Marcin + 519 MS November 7, 2019 I think Iran is playing the long game. If they wanted dirty bomb they would already have it and announce the fact. State TV informed about Fordow activity - so this was message for domestic audience. In the following years Iran will work with China and maybe later India to sell oil in euro, yuan and rupee and counter US embargo. This is salami strategy. US can do nothing about it.
Marcin + 519 MS November 7, 2019 If what Reuters reports is true: "In Moscow, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said events unfolding around the nuclear deal were deeply disturbing and called on Iran to stick to the terms of the deal. But he added that Moscow understood why Tehran was cutting back on its commitments, and blamed the situation on the U.S. decision to pull out of the pact." In language of diplomacy Iran coordinates its activities with Russia.

It is far better to face the truth of dealing with Russia, China, and Muslims than pretending that all is OK because agreements are made on paper. Islam itself says in the Koran that it is OK to deceive your perceived enemies. Russia has a long history of subversion and small conflicts to advance its agenda. China just makes agreements and then does whatever they wish.Β Obama made an agreement that was toothless. Trump realized that we needed to face the truth of the situation.Β The American Oil and Gas industry is our greatest economic weapon against OPEC and Russia. They cannot do well without higher prices. America doesn't need to import or export oil or natural gas, except from Canada. China is a beneficiary if they are able to find markets for their production lines.Β

The only reason their nuclear facilities have not been destroyed is because they have scattered them near population centers knowing that Americans are unlikely to kill hundreds of thousands of innocent Iranians. We realize they would gladly bomb Israel as they have threatened to many times, but Israel has the ability to make their own nuclear attacks with a first strike or a retaliatory strike.Β Only our military knows all of the different ways we can take out Iran's nuclear and other military threats.Β

A deal assumes both sides stick to the plan, Iran had no intention of doing so. Once Iran gets the bomb, do you think the EU, Russia, India, etc....will accept any blame when that first missile leaves for Tel Aviv? I am willing to bet it will all be Americaβs fault for pulling out of a non-existent agreement.
