turbguy + 1,527 March 20 (edited) And some more good info: https://datawrapper.dwcdn.net/pXPUD/1/ Then consider that hydro, solar and wind derived power do not use a heat engine to turn BTU's into electric power. That means, for every watt generated by renewables, AT LEAST 2 watts of fossil fuels is being displaced for other uses. This statement assumes a heat engine operates at 50% thermal efficiency, which is REALLY optimistic, although achievable with modern materials and cycles when that modern generator is operated at rated base load. Thus, due to the effect of renewable sources, fossil fuels otherwise used to generate electricity, become available for sale on the world market. The petroleum industry and customers in the USA should be embracing renewables. The less we burn in the USA, the more is available to sell! With the rise of "AI", we are going to demand a LOT more electric power. Recently, it was found that "AI hardware" is consuming about as much as bitcoin mining. And, AI has only just begun. footeab@yahoo.com + 2,187 April 8 (edited) PS: In case you can't figure it out(from memory over last ~decade) Saudi Arabia produced about ~1.5mb of lease condensates per year... Guess what? They use them. Sell them<<shock>> PPS: Saudi Arabia is building infrastructure for another ~2 million barrels of oil export which should once again put them in the lead as well as start building Natural Gas Liquid export terminals. Though how they think they can compete with say Qatar or the USA which is getting NG for ~free at the moment... Long term plans I guess. It's the largest charge on my bill. Can you please resolve my furrowed brow as to why I am being charged for the substance that you indicate is "free"? Kremlin accuses Trump of trying to bully Europe into buying U.S. LNG By Andrew Osborn July 12, 20189:23 AM PDTUpdated 6 years ago The Kremlin yesterday (12 July) rejected US President Donald Trump’s description of Germany as a “captive” of Russia due to its energy reliance, saying his statement was part of a US campaign to bully Europe into buying American energy supplies. Trump told Germany at a NATO summit in Brussels on Wednesday that it was wrong to support an $11-billion Baltic Sea pipeline to import even more Russian gas while being slow to meet NATO targets for defence spending. https://www.reuters.com/article/idUSKBN1K21A8/ https://www.euractiv.com/section/energy/news/kremlin-accuses-trump-of-trying-to-bully-europe-into-buying-us-lng/ Edited April 10 by Eyes Wide Open

Cheap gas ...cheap electricity Cheap Coal.... cheap electricity Cheap Solar Panels....Cheap electricity Free sun.....Cheap electricity Free wind......Cheap electricity The Electric Age is now going to dominate the energy source everyone relies on for daily home transportation and industrial needs... and solar with battery storage is over 50 percent of new electrical demand/power supply and is slowly taking over Now which one is free???? the Sun or Gas producers giving away Nat gas for free forever and losing their shirts?? the sun will keep shining for free nat gas...........well you do know that lasts for a few moments once in a while Rome was not built overnight and the takeover of the energy markets by electrification will occur over the next 30 years Edited April 10 by notsonice

There’s only one answer: Blame America. Pointing across the Atlantic has long been a favorite diversionary tactic for Europe’s political elites when things start to get dicey on the Continent. Whether it’s the war in Ukraine (Washington shouldn’t have expanded NATO), natural disasters (too many American SUVs fueling climate change) or the demise of French as a lingua franca (cultureless Hollywood), America is inevitably the culprit. https://www.politico.eu/article/eu-us-anti-american-biden-trade-gas-weapons-economy-inflation-reduction-act/ Edited April 10 by Eyes Wide Open
